Ingredients
- 2 cups freshly squeezed sweet, strained orange juice
- 2 cups milk (1% recommended for adults to keep fat content low)
- 2 Tbsp pure cane sugar
- 1 raw egg, pastured (See tips for preparation)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Beat until frothy.
(Optional)
- Sweeten juice with baking soda to avoid milk curdling.
- Sterilize raw egg by submerging in boiling water for three minutes.
- Use a straw to protect teeth from acidity.
Why it works
Orange juice pairs its sugar content with an antiinflammatory, antiestrogenic effect, and the baking soda keeps its acidity from curdling the milk.
